One day I heard about the
Former Prime Minister in
England, Margaret Thatcher and her familly from
KBS Radio
in 1986. After that I made up my mind to correspond
with her
and her only daughter, Carol, and had written
letters to them
once or twice a month for more ten years. At that
time,
I worked for MBC as a Broadcasting Engineer.
But I didn't get any answer from them but her
Mother's
Private Secretary during that time.
Here are the letters
which I wrote to her doughter, Carol.
I loved her. How I loved her! Perhaps it does
not matter
so very much what it is one loves in this world.
Sweet Swan of the River! I wonder you hear the
sound of
my Sweet love song, Carol!
Sweet love! Sweet lines! How sweet the love springs
upon
my heart! I couldn't help writing to her, Carol!
Dear Carol! You are a monument without a body,
And are alive still while this book does live
And they have wits to read and praise to give.
